Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s Locke & Key are heading to Hulu.

The IDW horror/ fantasy series revolves around three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Maine only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.

Doctor Strange’s Scott Derrickson is set to direct from a script by Hill, with Carlton Cuse as showrunner. This will be the second screen version of the popular comic book – Fox produced a pilot in 2011 which didn’t go to series.
