Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Two key characters from the Steven Moffat era of Doctor Who are set to meet in a new Big Finish box set.

Ian McNeice’s Winston Churchill will encounter Neve McIntosh’s Madame Vastra in Paul Morris’sYoung Winston, the first story in the new Churchill Years box set – although you’ll have to wait till February next year to listen to it.

According to producer David Richardson : “Of course we’ve worked with Neve before at Big Finish, on UNIT and Survivors, but this is the first time she has played the wonderful Madame Vastra for us. Steven Moffat kindly gave his blessing for us to use the character in this Churchill box set, and here she is – meeting Winston Churchill when he was just 21 years old, in the year 1895. How brilliant to be able to bring these two together for the first time!”

The other stories are , Human Conflict by Iain McLaughlin, I Was Churchill’s Double by Alan Barnes and Churchill Victorious by Robert Khan and Tom Salinsky.
