Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Jamie Chung, best known as Gotham’s Valerie Vale, has switched from DC to Marvel for her new role as Clarice Fong, aka Blink, in Matt Nix’s as yet untitled Fox X-Men show.

A sarcastic and lively tomboy, Clarice’s naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home,’ Clarice is slowly becoming herself again. Blink first appeared in 1994, created by writer Scott Lobdell and artist Joe Madureira; she was played by Fan Bingbing in the alternate future sections of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Chung joins Blair Redford, who was previously casted as another mutant, Sam, the strong-headed leader of an underground network of mutants who are battling a government hostile to those with their condition.
