Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

We won’t be seeing new adventures for the witches of Charmed or the vampiric Lost Boys any time soon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

TV reboots of both shows are in development, and were in contention to go to pilot this season, but the CW has elected not to proceed. According to THR, both shows needed further work with Jane the Virgin producer Jennie Snyder Urman able to give more time to the script of Charmed ready for next year. Similarly, iZombie’s Rob Thomas will be able to focus more on The Lost Boys once iZombie has wrapped its current season.
