Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Supergirl is adding to its impressive list of former Superman-connected actors with the news that Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’s Teri Hatcher will be joining in a recurring role.

Hatcher played Lois Lane opposite Dean Cain’s Clark Kent/Superman in the popular 1990s series; Cain already features in Supergirl as Kara’s adopted father. On Supergirl, Hatcher will “become the new big bad of Season 2”.

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg explained, “No offence to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all time favourite Lois Lane. To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg, and the fans.”
