Science fiction and fantasy are well represented among the GLAAD Media Award nominees, which were announced on January 31.
Star Trek Beyond is nominated for Outstanding Film (Wide Release), while Orphan Black, Supergirl and Wynonna Earp are among those recognised for Outstanding Drama Series.
Two award ceremonies will be held, one in Los Angeles on April 1, and the other in New York on May 6.
