There’s been much speculation over the last few months as to the title of Star Wars Episode VIII, with writer/director Rian Johnson noting that he had a title locked in from the start.
The film will be subtitled The Last Jedi. It will star the returning Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis with Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran joining the cast.
The movie opens on December 15, 2017.
