It may have seemed as if Robbie Reyes’ story is told on the fourth season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, but that may not be the case.
According to showrunners Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, the current season is divided into three sections – the first dealing with Ghost Rider, the second with one of the key characters as a Life Model Decoy, and the third yet to be revealed. However, Reyes could be back: “That chapter is not closed,” Tancharoen explained. “He slipped away for a moment but it’s not closed.”
New episodes of Agents of SHIELD begin in the US this week; the fourth season has been confirmed as airing early in 2017 on E4 in the UK.
