The Return of Doctor MysterioThe BBC has confirmed that The Return of Doctor Mysterio, the 2016 Doctor Who Christmas Special, will air at 5.45 pm on Christmas Day.

“With brain-swapping aliens poised to attack, the Doctor and Nardole link up with an investigative reporter and a mysterious figure known only as The Ghost. Can the Doctor save Manhattan? And what will be revealed when we see behind the mask?”

Peter Capaldi and Matt Lucas are joined by Justin Chatwin, Charity Wakefield, Tomiwa Edun, Aleksandar Jovanovic and Logan Huffman in the episode written by Steven Moffat and directed by Ed Bazalgette.
