Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Angela Bassett will be appearing in the new solo Black Panther movie currently shooting.

Bassett, who currently stars in American Horror Story, will play Ramonda, mother of T’Challa, aka Black Panther. In the original comics, Ramonda is actually T’Challa’s stepmother.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film is set for release in February 2018.
