starfleetIf you’re close to London this Friday (November 18th) then you have a chance of entering Starfleet courtesy of Manpower.

Trekkers nationwide are invited to explore new career horizons and apply for a once in a light year role as Starfleet Vice-Admiral (an honorary position only!). Applicants will be invited to beam up to The Starfleet Temporary Outpost 10 in Central London, to complete the ultimate Trekker test for ‘the best job in the universe.’

The candidate who proves themselves able to take command of Starbase Yorktown, will receive an official uniform recently used in the production of Star Trek Beyond and a VIP visit to Paramount Studio Lot in Los Angeles.

On Friday 18 November at zero seven hundred hours (07:00AM), a temporary Starfleet Outpost will take off at leading recruitment agency Manpower UK’s Liverpool Street based offices (1st Floor, New Chapter House, 14 New St, London EC2M 4HE). Ambitious commanders looking to make their mark on the fringes of known space, must register their interest to attend and take part in The Starfleet-approved test before the 17th of November.

The ultimate Trekker test, designed by die hard Star Trek fan and Empire Online editor-in-chief, James Dyer, will determine if candidates have what it takes to run a state-of-the-art Starbase. The out of this Galaxy Trekker test will be conducted by Manpower’s very own recruiters at the immersive pop-up event.

Candidates are encouraged to wear gear fit for the occasion to prove a solid dedication to the Star Trek Universe. The winner, to be announced on Monday 21st November, will be outfitted in an official Starfleet uniform and transported to temporary posting at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, California for orientation.
