Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Thomas Jane and Molly Parker will star in Netflix’s film of Stephen King’s 1922.

The former Punisher star will play Wilfred James, who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska. However after burying her body, he is terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, becomes convinced his wife is haunting him. The story first appeared in Full Dark, No Stars, published in 2010 (the movies Big Driver and A Good Marriage are also based on novellas in this collection).

Dylan Schmid, Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian D’Arcy James and Neal McDonough will co-star alongside Parker as Arlette. Zak Hilditch is directing from his own screenplay, with the movie currently shooting in Vancouver for a 2017 release.
