Johnny Depp will co-star with Eddie Redmayne in the second instalment of J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts franchise.
He is expected to make a brief cameo appearance in the first film, out on November 18 this year, but his character will be central to the second movie, another prequel to the Harry Potter saga, which films next year. David Yates will be directing the sequel, from a script by Rowling.
Fantastic Beasts II is set to open on November 16, 2018.
