Lucifer will be bedevilling Los Angeles for a further nine episodes, Fox has confirmed.
The series, based on the Vertigo comic and starring Tom Ellis as Lucifer and Laura German as Detective Chloe Decker, will now contain 22 episodes.
“Lucifer continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humour and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to Gotham, and we couldn’t be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes,” Fox entertainment president David Madden explained.
The show airs Mondays on Fox in the US, and is then available on Tuesdays on Amazon Prime in the UK.
