Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The Harry Potter phenomenon rolls on, with J.K. Rowling now saying there will be five, rather than three, films in the Fantastic Beasts sequence.

At a preview of footage from the first film, out in November, the creator of the Potterverse released the news and later noted she would be scripting the entire quintet. The second film will be set in a “capital city” according to director David Yates, while the first film will include an appearance by a key member of the Harry Potter ensemble (highlight to find out who): Dumbledore

Fantastic Beasts… will open on November 18, 2016; the sequel is set for November 16, 2018.
