lost_in_space_titleBlack Sails’ Toby Stephens is headlining Netflix’s reboot of Lost in Space.

The ten episode series is expected to debut in 2018, reworking the premise of the Irwin Allen cult show from the 1960s. Stephens will be playing John Robinson, the part played by Guy Williams in the original and William Hurt in the movie version. Sense8’s Maxwell Jenkins has been cast as Will Robinson with Taylor Russell as his older sister Judy.

The reboot is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, with the show run by Zack Estrin. Neil Marshall will be producing and directing episodes.
