throne_of_glass_ukSarah J. Maas’ fantasy series Throne of Glass is being adapted for Hulu.

The streaming channel is developing a series, Queen of Shadows, based on the six-book fantasy saga which follows assassin Celaena Sardothien, a reluctant heroine who is underestimated by all around her. The first of the Young Adult series was published in 2012; book five arrived in stores this week.

Kira Snyder will be writing the adaptation, with Anna Foerster lined up as director for the pilot.
