BBC America’s new Dirk Gently series will be broadcast on Netflix outside the United States, the streaming service has announced.
Netflix is co-producing the show with BBC America, along with AMC Studios, Ideate Media, and IDW Entertainment, and all eight episodes will be released in December. The series is written and executive produced by Max Landis (Chronicle, Bright), executive produced by Robert Cooper (Stargate) and stars Samuel Barnett (Penny Dreadful, Endeavour), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), and Hannah Marks (The Amazing Spiderman, Weeds).
