The O.C. and Gossip Girl’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are penning a film version of Sarah Pinborough’s YA thriller 13 Minutes for Netflix.
The novel (which we review here) deals with a popular high school student who dies under suspicious circumstances for 13 minutes before she is revived and her former best friend’s search to discover what happened to her. Schwartz and Savage will produce alongside Michael De Luca and Trevor Engelson.
No director or cast have yet been attached to the project.
