jekyll_mainHuman Torch and Captain America actor Chris Evans (not the former Top Gear star!) is being touted as the lead in Lionsgate’s movie adaptation of Steven Moffat’s 2007 BBC series Jekyll.

The TV miniseries starred James Nesbitt as a descendant of the infamous doctor, who shares his body with Mr Hyde, who he tries to keep under control – without success. Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman are producing the movie through their A Very Good Production company, and Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry are set to write the screenplay.
