Production has begun on the second season of Supergirl, now at its new home on the CW.
The opening two-parter sees Clark Kent/Superman come to visit his cousin in National City, and the CW has released a shot of Melissa Benoist and Tyler Hoechlin as Supergirl and Superman. The latter’s costume isn’t the same design as that worn by Henry Cavill in the DC Movie universe – this version has been created by Kiersten Ronning.
Supergirl returns in the US on October 10 and is expected on Sky in the UK shortly after.
