Dynamite Comics’ latest team-up sees 1970s TV heroine Jaime Sommers and the Lynda Carter version of Wonder Woman working together.
Announced in the New York Times, the series will be written by SFB contributor Andy Mangels. DC currently produces a line of Wonder Woman ’77 comics featuring this incarnation of the character, and Dynamite has released various bionic comics.
“When Andy suggested this, it just seemed perfect,” Joseph Rybandt, the executive editor of Dynamite told the New York Times. “He was passionate about the project and a talent we had not previously worked with.” Rybandt noted that “Andy is a super Wonder Woman fan and a super Bionic Woman fan.”
The series will appear in 2017.
