Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

There’s still eight months or so to go – and filming isn’t set to begin for another four, at least – but CBS are starting to push their new Star Trek series.

The first Trek TV show in 12 years will premiere on CBS All Access and at the upfront presentations this week at Carnegie Hall, they showed off the new logo and just a hint of what the new series will be like.

“CBS present – a new adventure” the trailer begins, before a series of space images concluding with four short taglines appearing with the four-note start of the theme: New Crews, New Villains, New Heroes, New Worlds.”

The release comes just 48 hours before Paramount’s big fan event to launch the trailer for Star Trek Beyond, which hits cinemas in two months time.
