Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Fox has announced the new shows that will be hitting the airwaves later this year, including the reboot of The Exorcist.

The official logline for the show is “More than four decades after the Academy Award-nominated film solidified itself as the greatest horror movie ever made, The Exorcist returns in series format as a propulsive psychological thriller following two very different priests tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession.” Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, Geena Davis, Brianne Howey, Hannah Kasulka, and Kurt Egyiawan are set to star.

At present there’s no word whether Damien, 20th Century Fox TV’s sequel to the other classic 1970s horror movie The Omen, will be picked up for a second season.
