As part of the buildup for the release of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the next instalment of adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange.

“There is so much you don’t know,” Tilda Swinton’s Old One tells surgeon Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) – and that could equally apply to the audience, who are being treated to a very different side to the Marvel Universe, as seen in this trailer premiered on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show.

Doctor Strange opens in November 2016.
