As part of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society’s 40th Anniversary celebrations, DWAS is presenting its first two day event in eight years.
‘The Capitol’ is a full scale weekend event that will take place at the Arora Hotel Gatwick on 7th/8th May, 2016. In an attempt to recapture some of the spirit from conventions of old, The Capitol will include all the usual features such as guests, panels, autographs, dealers, photo sessions and a special evening event on the Saturday, hosted by John Levene, called ‘Saturday Night Live at the Capitol’.
As with all DWAS events, a ticket includes access to every aspect of the convention, with most autographs included (with some exceptions). A special hotel rate has been negotiated for attendees.
There are more guests still to be announced, and attendees may even spot some of the original DWAS founders amongst the crowd.
