Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

British actor Peter Serafinowicz will be playing the lead in Amazon Studios’ new version of The Tick.

According to the report at Deadline, “the blue-suited Tick is recovering from a memory loss and ends up reteaming with his sidekick Arthur (Griffin Newman) to fight evil. The two are surrounded by a new host of characters that include Arthur’s sister Dot (Valorie Curry)”. The Tick was created by Ben Edlund and had his own short-lived Fox TV series back in 2001.

Serafinowicz was recently seen in Guardians of the Galaxy, and was the voice of Darth Maul in the first of the Star Wars prequel movies, The Phantom Menace.
