Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Former Tick star Patrick Warburton will be voicing the narrator, Lemony Snicket, in Netflix’s new version of A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Warburton joins Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf, and Malina Weissman and Louis Hynes as the orphans in the eight-part series which is being directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, Warburton’s producer on the short-lived version of The Tick.

The series is based on the long-running series of children’s books written by Daniel Handler under the penname Lemony Snicket and published between 1999 and 2006. A feature film based on the first three stories appeared in 2004.
