Carter series 2With less than a week to the start of Agent Carter’s second season of adventures, the producers have revealed links to upcoming elements of the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Talking to Comic Book Resources, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters explain that Peggy’s target this season is Isodyne Energy (based on various real life companies from the 1940s). “They stumble upon what people in the Marvel Universe will know as Darkforce, but because they’ve never seen it before they just name it Zero Matter. That’s our tie-in to the Doctor Strange universe, and also to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. because you’ve seen it in  as well.”

Darkforce has turned up with many different facets in the Marvel Universe, which has allowed Fazekas and Butters to cherrypick the elements which will work for their story.
