Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel has potentially got its lead in Steve Jobs’ Katherine Waterston.

According to a report at Deadline, Waterston will play Daniels, one of the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, who discover what they believe is an uncharted paradise. But in fact it’s a dark, dangerous world whose the only inhabitant is David (played once more by Michael Fassbender), the “synthetic” and survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The film is expected to be the first of three new prequels to the 1979 Alien.
