According to a report at Deadline, John Connolly’s trilogy of middle-school novels has been acquired by Dreamworks.
The three books – The Gates, Hell’s Bells (aka The Infernals) and The Creeps – follow young Samuel Johnson and his loyal dachshund Boswell as they battle the forces of darkness. Dreamworks are now looking for a writer to work on the first script, which will tell how Samuel and Boswell discover the gates of Hell have opened at 666 Crowley Road…
