ABC has formally decided not to go forward with a second season of The Whispers, the SF drama based on the short story by Ray Bradbury.

The series aired across the summer, after the cast’s options had expired, and some had expressed their unwillingness to shoot further episodes in Vancouver. The show got strong initial ratings, but they petered out as the 13 episodes aired before the finale got a mild boost. As yet, it has not been shown in the UK.
