Nigel Kneale’s classic tale of haunting, The Stone Tape, is heading to Radio 4 this Halloween, in a new version by Matthew Graham and Peter Strickland.
The one-hour drama will be broadcast at 10pm on Saturday October 31, with Romolai Garai, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Dean Andrews and Tom Bennett, directed by Strickland. The original play was shown on Christmas Day 1972, and followed a group trying to discover if a building was haunted – giving its name to the phenomenon of residual haunting.
