DrostenA.L. Kennedy will be marking her Doctor Who novel The Drosten’s Curse with a special event in Arbroath – the town in which her story is set.

The event at Hospitalfield House in Arbroath will take place on Monday 12th Octobe from 6.30-9.30 pm.

Scottish author Kennedy, known for her critically acclaimed novels The Blue Book, Day, Paradise and So I Am Glad, will speak about her process of writing the book and answer questions.

The book is set in Arbroath and surrounding area with scenes also playing out at the historic St Vigeans site to the north of the town.

The evening will be hosted by Peggy Hughes who manages Literary Dundee. The initial introduction and readings will take place in Hospitalfield’s beautiful Victorian Picture Gallery and the evening will continue with an informal launch party and book signing in the Music Room with a bar.
