Star Trek Beyond, the third of the rebooted films, will be beaming onto cinema screens a little later than originally planned, Paramount has announced.
Justin Lin’s movie, currently shooting in Vancouver, will have an extra two weeks to finetune, as the studio has decided to release it on July 22nd next year, rather than July 8th. According to Deadline, this is to take advantage of IMAX screen availability as Warner Bros. Tarzan will be on the huge screens from July 1st.
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and the rest of the regular cast are reprising their roles with Idris Elba confirmed as guest star.
