Hunger Games series director Francis Lawrence is set to produce and direct a new TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, according to a report t Deadline.
The 1996 TV series has been reworked as a book, a graphic novel and a recent radio series. It follows the adventures of ordinary Londoner Richard Mayhew in “London Below” after he comes to the help of a mysterious girl named Door.
Lawrence will produce alongside Mark Gordon and Erwin Stoff; the trio are also working on an adaptation of Charles Belfoure’s House of Thieves.
