According to reports at The Wrap, The Tick star Patrick Warburton has arranged a deal with Sony Television for Amazon to produce a pilot based on the series as part of their next wave. The original series, based on the comic book by Ben Edlund, was cancelled by Fox after nine episodes had been produced, with the high-profile time slot taking much of the blame. The pilot was directed by Men in Black’s Barry Sonnenfeld, and the series has received more appreciation since its DVD release.
