Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

With production ramping up, further cast details for Netflix’s third series, Luke Cage, are being released.

Sons of Anarchy star Theo Rossi will be appearing as a regular; he is expected to be playing Cage’s enemy Shades, one of his former cellmates when Cage was incarcerated at Seagate Prison. He first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1 back in 1972.

Simone Missick has been cast as “Missy”, a woman with a strong sense of justice, which is expected to be a cover for Misty Knight, a former police officer who is provided with a bionic arm by Tony Stark after she loses her limb in an explosion. Working with Colleen Wing, she formed the Daughters of the Dragon.

It has also been confirmed that Rosario Dawson will be reprising her role as Claire Temple. Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage with Alfre Woodard expected to play Black Mariah.
