Both of Syfy’s Friday night shows, Dark Matter and Killjoys, will be returning for new seasons.

“Whoo hoo! Pleased to announce Season 2 orders for BOTH #Killjoys and #DarkMatter! Shows will return in 2016!” ran the official tweet. There will be 10 more episodes of Killjoys and 13 of Dark Matter – matching this year’s quota – when the shows return next year.

Killjoys stars Hannah John-Kamen, Luke Macfarlane and Aaron Ashmore. Creator and showrunner Michelle Lovretta is executive producer and writer with David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg and Karen Troubetzkoy as executive producers. Dark Matter, created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, stars Melissa O’Neil, Marc Bendavid, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland with Roger Cross and Zoie Palmer.
