Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Mads Mikkelsen, currently starring as Hannibal Lecter in the TV series, is set to join the cast of Marvel’s Doctor Strange movie, opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.

Variety broke the story, claiming that Mikkelsen will be one of the antagonists in the movie, which already co-stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. Mikkelsen, who played Le Chiffre in Daniel Craig’s first Bond movie Casino Royale, is currently filming the Star Wars Anthology movie, Rogue One, which will come out in December 2016, a month after Doctor Strange.
