The adventures of Department 7 will be continuing for a further year, Big Finish have confirmed.

Their update of the classic 1970s series The Omega Factor has been commissioned for a second season.

‘The Omega Factor was one of my favourite TV series of the 70s, and I was so disappointed when it didn’t make it to a second series,’ producer David Richardson noted. ‘Three and a half decades later, I can help put that right, as Lou, John and Natasha Gerson come back for four more episodes.

‘Things will move up several gears in Series Two. They say that the greatest trick the Devil pulled was to convince the world that he didn’t exist. Let’s just say that mysterious organisation called Omega might have planned along similar lines…’
