Fox has assigned Dracula adaptor Cole Haddon to work on a version of Daniel H. Wilson’s novella Small Things, one of the stories in the recent collection Robot Uprisings.

According to the report at Deadline, the story will centre on “a disgraced scientist who is sent to an island that has been overrun by advanced forms of nanotechnology that swirl through the jungle, consuming raw materials”. A movie version of Wilson’s Robopocalypse is currently in limbo.
