Genre veteran Max von Sydow is coming to Game of Thrones, according to a report at Entertainment Weekly.
The magazine explains that the actor, soon to be seen in Star Wars Episode VII, will be playing the Three-Eyed Raven in series 6 of the HBO show. Struan Rodger played the part of Bran Stark’s mystical tutor (a crow in the original books) at the end of series 4.
Ian McShane has also joined the cast for the new season, although his role has yet to be identified.
