Rachel Talalay is continuing her run of season finales on Doctor Who.
The BBC confirmed today that the Tank Girl director, who was behind the camera for the final two episodes of Series 8 featuring Missy and the Cybermen, will be helming both episodes 11 and 12 of the new series.
Episode 11 is currently being filmed, and Talalay will also be responsible for the finale, and the BBC has now confirmed that these form another two-parter with a bombshell cliffhanger to episode 11 that is expected to surprise fans.
Episode 9 remains to be shot and will wrap up the season, which airs this autumn on BBC One. Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman return as the 12th Doctor and Clara.
