The Game’s Sarah Dollard is the mystery writer added to the roster for Doctor Who series 9, it has been revealed today.

Dollard’s script, episode 10 of the currently filming season, will also see the return of Joivan Wade as Rigsy, a character created in Jamie Mathieson’s Flatline last year.

“Getting to play in the Doctor Who toy box is a dream come true,” Dollard commented. “It’s a total honour to contribute to a show that has brought me such joy as a fan. However, writing for Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman has presented a serious problem: some days I’ve been too excited to actually sit down and type!” Her other credits include Being Human.

The episode is directed by Justin Molotnikov.
