The Thick of It’s Rebecca Front is joining her former  co-stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman in episodes 7 and 8 of the new series of Doctor Who, which also feature an appearance by the Zygons and UNIT.

Front’s role in the story, written by Peter Harness, is “closely-guarded”, according to the BBC. She appeared with Capaldi in The Thick of It, and alongside Coleman in Death Comes to Pemberley, playing the mother of Jenna’s character. Ingrid Oliver and Jemma Redgrave also appear in the action-packed two-parter which has been shooting recently.
