According to George Miller, Mad Max will be heading to The Wasteland for his fifth big screen outing.
Following the success of Tom Hardy’s debut in the role in Fury Road, Miller tweeted to say “Thanks for all the kind words written and said about the film. We had a lot of fun making it..and there’s more Max to come.” He recently confirmed on the QandA Podcast that the film will be entitled The Wasteland. Hardy is optioned for a total of three films as Max Rockatansky, the role first brought to life by Mel Gibson.
