ABC has renewed both of their current Marvel shows: Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter.

SHIELD, which is currently tying in to the Avengers movie Age of Ultron as well as setting up the Inhumans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be back for a third year – although Deadline suggests that the mooted spin-off featuring Adrienne Paliacki and Nick Blood’s characters Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter is not going to move forward.

As yet there is no detail on exactly what format Agent Carter will return in, although it is likely to be another eight-part miniseries (which might even get broadcast in the UK if fans are lucky!)
