The CW’s comedy drama iZombie will be sucking viewers’ brains for a second year.

“#iZOMBIE officially renewed for a second season!” executive producer Rob Thomas announced on Twitter on May 6th.

The series is based on characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred and stars Rose McIver as Olivia “Liv” Moore, a medical resident who is turned into a zombie and starts working at a mortuary. She discovers that eating the brains of the deceased allows her to share their memories and personalities, and so assists the Seattle Police Department with their murder enquiries.
