Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

There are going to be two different Sony Spider-Man films coming in the next three years, boss Tom Rothman has confirmed.

In addition to the live action film to be overseen by Marvel’s Kevin Feige, which is set for July 28, 2017, there’s also going to be a new animated version of the web-crawler, produced (and probably directed) by the LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord & Christopher Miller. That will take a little longer to produce, with a planned release date of July 20, 2018.
